Creating Quality Files

OptiScan™ can often improve the form and readability of a company’s archived materials through simple adjustments made during the scanning process. These include:

• Smudge and speckle removal
• Skew Adjustments
• Image Enhancement
• Grayscale Scanning for Enhanced Detail (Medical EKGs)

Multi-streaming allows us to create both a color and black and white version of a document with one scan to provide our clients with the choice between color accuracy and reduced file size (See our article on multi-streaming). We can also apply a Quality Grade to images that have degraded beyond a clearly reproducible state for later review.
